This UMPC first prototype was introduced during the CES 2008 and get
its first official intro at Beijing Olympic Games. When looking at the
size that approximately 21 x 173 x 84-mm, this UMPC seems like a pocket
PC. Powered by Intel Silverthorn 800 MHz processor from Atom Z500 class,
this UMPC can operate in 5 hour using battery power. For better viewing,
a 4.8" touchscreen LCD display embed in this UMPC.To enhance more
performance while doing any tasks, a 2GB of RAM is ready to do the job
and 6GB SSD flash storage is available for users to save any multimedia
file. In connectivity specification, a 802.11b/g WiFi, Bluetooth 2.0,
GPS, EDGE also in included in this UMPC. A dual camera integrated in
this UMPC can be use for any multimedia purpose. A little bit sad that
this UMPC has no 3G network support and WiMAX internet access and hope
it will be upgrade before hit the worldwide market. |
