http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/jj97/zool_85/virus-3-enlarged.jpg Believe it or not, in the future, your cell phone size will be thin as your credit card because engineers from MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) is now working on invented the cell-sized batteries and will be thin as a papers to powered any miniature device in the future. On the first process called soft lithography, a four or eight millionth meter of tiny post pattern was created and two polymers will be deposited  on top of these post that will act as a solid electrolyte and battery separator. By using the stamping process, the anode and cathode film will be stamp together.

This project was sponsored by the Army Research Office Institute of Collaborative Biotechnologies, the Army Research Office Institute of Soldier Nanotechnologies, and the David and Lucille Packard Foundation.
