Here are the tips than can save your hard disk space. Although it is common for you and ever heard this somewhere, actually this tips is the efficient way. 1 - Always clear your internet cache after surfing the net. When you surfing the internet, the browser like Internet Explorer, Mozilla, etc will use some of your hard disk space to safe the internet cache file. This cache is used to recall back the file without downloading it again like image and video file. This cache also will save your total bandwidth and make the surfing more faster. Unfortunately, this cache file is no longer used after we closed our browser and stop surfing and some of the browser do not delete the cache file. So you must delete it manually according to your browse option. 2 - Always do a Disc Cleanup. This option a available in all version of Windows. Just open My Computer, right click on the drive that you want to clean up and choose properties. In properties you will find the Disk Cleanup option. Windows will examine first your drive for the cleanup process. Then when the result is showed, make sure you tick all the clean up option to gain more space in your hard drive. Disc Cleanup will compress your file, delete all log file, temporary file and installer file. 3 - Compress all your files. On the disc cleanup, we already discuss about compress file. You also can compress all your file without using disc cleanup. To do this, right click on the desired drive and tick on "compress drive to save disk space". Then click on 'apply' and chose to compress files in subfolders also. After done the compressing, all the file name will turn into blue color. It means that the file is compressed. 4 - Find and delete duplicate files. This is the most tough job to do. Ops, just kidding.
