In January 2009, Palm has developed a proprietary mobile operating system running on the Linux kernel called webOS. HP takes the advantage by acquiring Palm and launching the HP webOS in the first HP mobile tablet called HP Touch Pad. With 9.7-inch XGA capacitive, you can experienced the multitouch screen with a vibrant 18-bit color and 1024 x 768 resolution display. Using 1200 MHz Qualcomm APQ8060 dual core processor and 1GB processor, this mobile tablet will suite your needs including the 3G connectivity which you can make a video call using the front-facing 1.3-megapixel webcam, surfing the net, SMS and MMS. Other connectivity that support this device is Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth V2.1, High speed USB 2.0 and GPS.

You also can feel the interaction with these device as the HP embed 4 type of sensors like accelerometer, light sensor, compass (magnetometer), and gyroscope which depends on selected model. For the mutlimedia, it can store up to 16GB or 32GB internal storage which support this  media format DRM-free MP3, AAC, AAC+, eAAC+, AMR, QCELP, WAV for audio and MPEG-4, H.263, H.264 for video.
