Screen lock is recommended for those who always left their computer without turn off especially for download purposes because it can prevent from data theft. For windows users, Microsoft already integrated it with all windows version but compare to Desktop Lock software, it has less features. With Desktop Lock you don't just get screen lock features.

You also can enhanced your security with combo hotkey pressing example when you want to lock or unlock your screen. For example Alt+Del+G to lock the screen and Alt+Del+2 to unlock the screen. In the lock mode, there are six types of locking method such as :

-Lock current desktop without any charge
-Lock current desktop, hide all opened windows
-Lock current desktop, and clear all contents on the screen
-Lock current desktop, and launch a program or document
-Lock current desktop, and run system screensaver
-Lock Keyboard and mouse only, don't freeze screen

For the unlock mode hotkey you can choose whether to combine it it Ctrl or Alt.

The display setting is to set media that you want to display during the lock mode either moving text banner, background picture, background media or paint brush.

For the virtual screen you can crate virtual windows (figure below) by setting up in the options (figure above).

With Virtual Screen you can limit up any application that restricted to other users. It is useful when you pc sharing which each other or your children want to access it. To quit the virtual screen, just click on 'Start' and click 'Quit'
